 My Future Career

If the nursing robots are ubiquitous, my grandfather may still be alive.

'Ding-dong! Ding-dong! ' we rang the door bell for a long time, but nobody answered. A sense of ominous hunch rushed through our veins. After a few fumbling of her spare keys, my mother opened the door by her quivering hands and found that her father was running a high fever, sleeping on bed in delirium. We called the ambulance in no time. My grandfather was used to live alone and a bit far away from us. We were in touch via phone every day and met once a week. Nevertheless, we lost contact with him for three days. With worries and fidgets, we went to his home in order to confirm he was safe. Yet the things went contrary to our wishes. After two weeks, he passed away in hospital. We couldn't get over our grief and regret that we haven't paid enough attention to him.

One year later, when I saw the nursing robot, Baymax(of Big Hero 6), which looked like a huge marshmallow appearing on the screen of the television, my jaw dropped to the floor. This was exactly what I needed to take care my beloved grandfather! I must invent a robot like this! I told myself.

Baymax is instantly activated by the sound of distress, and can only deactivate once his current patient states "I am satisfied with my care." If not, he will not stop helping nor leave unless the patient confirms their satisfaction. It measures one's body temperature and pulse regularly, sending the data and alert to one's family. Moreover, it can prevent his current patient from accidents such as falling over. Last but not least, it can chat with his patient and therefore detect the mental health of the patient. Baymax is a perfect A.I. .

"How can I invent a real Baymax?" I asked my mother. She replied, "It's likely that a group of specialists is inventing it, and if you want to join the team, you are required to have a very high academic level, such as PhD in the related field. " Which country is the bellwether country of A.I. industry? Can I study PhD there? I am profoundly lost in thought.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. First and the foremost, I have to study in a secondary school which provides Igcse and GCE curriculum.
