My Family

My family consists of four members. My mother is a housewife and my father is a  stock market investor. My grandmother is also staying with us. She is a sweet old lady. She looks after us without any complaints.

We live together in a three room flat. Although it is a small place, it is neat and cosy. We are a harmonious family and never have any serious quarrels or fights. Occasionally, my father and I do quarrel over trivial matters. We would not stop until we get understanding of each point of view thoroughly.

My mother is a lovely chubby lady. She is fond of cooking.  Also, she is full of curiosity. Every time she sees a cooking tutorial on YouTube, she cannot help to make the new dish. Most of the time, the food is great! Fragrant  aroma creeps up to my nose and drive my saliva rushing to my mouth. I am full every day. Before sleeping, she always tells me stories. Her stories are expressive and meaningful. I do enjoy the story time. In addition, my mother teaches me every single word when I am only a baby. Thanks to my mother, I can enjoy reading children books by myself since I was only two.

My father is a handsome man with big eyes and a high nose. He earns money by investing a wide variety of stocks and assets to support our family. Tell you a secret, he is a clean freak. He cleans the floor and washes the clothes everyday. Moreover, he takes good care of my health. In order to prevent me from getting a cold, he forces himself wake up in the middle of night and have my quilt covered.

I love my parents because they do love me so much. They 'invested' on me so much, not just money, but also the invaluable time. My mother resigned from her high income job to take care me ever since I was born. She want to raise me by her own. I am very lucky to have a family where every member loves me deeply.
