P6 Homework 3

Dear Diary,  

            Today I went to the public library after school.  It was windy and rainy outside so I want to spent one or two hour here. I picked up a book and sat down amidst hundreds of bookshelves. On the opposite of my desk was a boy and a girl. The girl was doing her homework. The boy was reading a science fiction. It seemed that they did not know each other.  

              After a while, the girl left her seat, leaving her mobile phone on the desk. She was probably looking for a reference book. I noticed that the boy then gazed at her mobile phone restlessly and suspiciously. An ominous hunch crept up to my head. Slowly, he grabbed her mobile phone and moved underneath his fiction. My jaw dropped to the floor as my eyebrows shot towards the ceiling. I was stunned in a few seconds.  

                At the time that I realized how serious it was, I sneaked to the girl and told her someone was trying to steal her mobile phone secretly. The girl stopped him just in time. The boy was awkward and embarrassed. He blushed and rushed out of the library. 

              The girl thanked me and bought me a drink. We became friends afterward. A sense of happiness rushed through my veins because I pointed out a crime.

拾香紀書一本文學小說。作者以第一人稱寫連十香的一生。連十香生於一九七四年，卒於一九九六年，只有短短二十二年的人生，卻見證了香港經濟騰飛的美好時光。她的父母共有十個子女，順序是大有、相逢、三多、四海、五美、六合、七喜、八寶、九傑和十香。 從他們十兄弟姊妹的故事當中，能了解到在哪數十年內，香港各行各業的黃金發展史。 這本書在我家的書櫃已塵封20年，媽媽一直都不捨得丟掉。因為這本書記載了香港在40年代到90年代的歷史，媽媽認為作為一個香港人，香港歷史不可不讀，媽媽一直努力教我識字，在小學四年級時，我終於看懂了這本文學作品。我看完之後，和媽媽一起討論，媽媽和我分享了她童年生活的回憶，這是我們親子共讀的快樂時光！如果故事主角連十香仍然在世的話，大約比我媽媽年長幾歲吧！

A blog entry on your feelings of online lessons

Form 1 homework: It was all very new for me at first. The horrible pandemic of covid-19 has been speading amid the world from November 2019. At that time I was in primary 6, I was facing school suspension, attending zoom lessons, and getting distressed by the pandemic all of the first time. The pandemic did not get better as I thought so in 2020. In fact, it was worse. I was gloomy.  As for now, the January of 2021, we still cannot get rid of the pandemic yet. I am in-between zoom lessons and in-person lessons for the most time in Form 1. I feel sorrowful that the pandemic becomes the 'new normal'. I look forward to experiencing Form 1 life, expecting to interact with peers and teachers, meeting new friends, hoping to participate in extra-curriculm activities. However, suddenly, everything was robbed from my hands by the nasty pandemic. I was blue. 請你以「表哥/表姐，那一次我不是故意的。」為開首，續寫成一篇文章。 表哥，那一次我不是故意的。每一個早上當我打開電視機時，都會不由自主地看各地新增的病例，而當我看見歐美國家的人民因為不習慣戴口罩，每天新增數萬新冠肺炎病例時，一種內疚感就會湧上我心頭。 那天，我實在忍受不住在家隔離了一個月的沉悶生活，要求媽媽帶我到你家玩耍。其實那天我已經有輕微的喉嚨痛和打噴嚏，但為免取消行程，我騙媽媽說我只是鼻敏感。雖然媽媽相信我只是鼻敏感，但她仍然叫我戴上口罩。 到了你家後，我因為覺得口罩悶熱，便脫了下來收在口袋中。我們這麼久沒有見面，實在太興奮了，我們扭在一起打打鬧鬧，嘻哈大笑，玩得不亦樂乎，可是，那天晚上，我們都發燒了！更令人驚恐的是，我們翌日都出現咳嗽症狀，過了數天，我們的父母實在太擔心，所以送我們去醫院做新冠病毒檢測。 當我接受檢測時，我忐忑不安，我聽到自己的心卜卜亂跳，我緊張得滿臉通紅。不幸中之大幸，兩份報告都顯示呈陰性，我們和家人都重重地舒了一口氣！雖然如此, 但內疚感仍充滿我整個大腦，我連累了你生了兩星期的病。我自己沒好好照顧自己，生病是活該的，為什麼我要連累你呢？ 雖然我很掛念你，很想再跟你一起追逐玩耍；很想跟你一起打電子遊戲機；很想跟你一起吃雪糕，但這次沒有感染新冠肺炎只是僥倖而已，我們還是不要見面了。希望疫情快點結束，一切回復正常！
