P6 Homework 1
Last week, Mandy and I visited a children's hospital. We arranged a puppet show for the children, telling them a story of Aesop's Fables. The children were over the moon. Mandy and I were performing amidst the hollers of laughter. A sense of happiness crept up to my head and a gigantic grin spread across my face.
After the splendid show, we arranged 'DIY time' and taught them to make their own puppets with old gloves. Everyone was happy except Tom. He turned away as his eyes welled up with tears. I soon found out his hand was severely injured and placed in a cast, so he lost the ability of making puppets. I consoled him immediately. Then, I had a good idea. I decorated his bandage with delicate decorations. His eyes lit up like the sky on the first of October.
Write back soon.
Regards,
Dave
